About ''thedogman''

For fourteen years Craig was a Home Office Approved Dog Handler; his pro-active career involved working both general purpose and specialist search dogs. This opportunity gave him a vast working knowledge of canines and their behaviour, to which he received Commendations for his successful dog related work.

Craig is currently on a career break and acknowledges his employer in granting him a five year sabbatical. This valuable time has allowed him to continue his passion in studying the canine. In November 2009 he Graduated from Bishops Burton College FdSc (Canine Behaviour and Training) and is currently a Post Graduate student (Canine Research) within the Geophysics department at Keele University. He has developed partnerships with South Staffordshire, Stafford and Stoke on Trent College as a guest lecturer delivering talks on canine behaviour, kennel management and canines in industry. He is also a member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers (BIPDT) and supplies full and partly trained tactical dogs to professional users.
